Course Provider

A course provider means any individual, organization, business or educational institution offering continuing education credit (CEC) courses to landscape irrigation contractors enabling them to renew their certification. Providers now can submit an application to become an approved provider and submit individual courses for approval for CEC’s. Providers can also upload rosters for completed courses to streamline the crediting process. Certified contractors need a total of 16 CEC’s each 2-year certification cycle and the CEC requirements include 3 categories: general CEC’s, water conservation topics and NJ business law/building codes. Contractors are required to have at least 8 CEC’s in water conservation topics and at least 2 CEC’s in NJ business law/building codes each cycle.
